The problem: It's a pain in the butt to bulk purchase curiosities from Honest Ozz
Details: We seem to run into this issue over and over again...first with opening cores in bulk, then with converting cells into aetherdust in bulk. PHXL has done well to address these issues, hopefully they'll be able to make it easier to bulk purchase curiosities from Honest Ozz before the Springtide event starts? Purchasing 1-use transformations one at a time is an awful experience
Suggestion: Obviously, the permanent solution would be to update the AI to include a 10x purchase option alongside the 1x purchase option, similar to Granny, core breakers, and Middleman. However, it may not be possible to get this change out ahead of the Springtide event.
A temporary solution that could implemented immediately would simply be to add another purchase option in the Honest Ozz shop, so we might have something like:
- 1x Curiosity A
- 1x Curiosity B
- 1x Curiosity C
- Weapon Transmog A
- Banner Background
- Emote A
- 10x Curiosity A
- 10x Curiosity B
- 10x Curiosity C
No UI update required, it's literally a separate "item", which should be doable with their current content creation tools.
Anti-vision:
- Do not remove the single purchase/low cost option. It sucks to have a few event coins left over at the end of the season and have no where to spend it.
- Also, make sure the bulk purchase option is significant. 10x is a good sweet spot, 5x is too small. The difference in player effort of manually purchasing 1x four times vs. manually purchasing 1x nine times is small. I'd rather be able to burn through thousands of event coins twice as fast with a 10x option vs. a 5x bulk purchase option.
