[2019] Patch 0.8.0 and 0.8.1 Bug Megathread

Greeting Slayers!

Every patch we being to the shattered isles comes with some unforeseen bugs can find their way onto our airships and into gameplay. To avoid flooding the subreddit with similar issues, we will be collecting all bug reports in this megathread for patches 0.8.0 and 0.8.1.

Prerequisites to remember before reporting a bug!

  1. A bug will easily be addressed with a screenshot or a video. This will also help us validate the bug is real.
  2. All information below should be filled out. This helps us recreate the bugs on our end and validate that it is not a hardware issue.
  3. The bug must have been from the latest patch.

If your bug does not follow these steps guidelines, it will be removed so we can ask you for more information.

How to Format your Bug

  • In-Game Name:

  • Game Version: The patch where this bug was found (0.8.0 or 0.8.1)

  • Type of Bug: Behemoth, Weapon, Gear, Performance, Cosmetic / Visual, etc.

  • Expected behavior: What were you expecting to have happen?

  • Actual behavior: What did you see happen?

  • Screenshot/Clip: Provide a video or screenshot of this bug happening.

  • Reproduction Rate/Steps: Are you able to reproduce this bug? How often does this bug occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time)

  • System Specs: Internet speed Operating System, CPU, GPU, Internet speed

  • Geographic location: Provided this so we can track which server you are connected too.

The discount was an error from the Epic Games store sale.

Information from the Epic Mega Sale FAQ

Will I get $10 off DLC, game add-ons, season passes, or in-game purchases, including V-bucks in Fortnite?

No, the promotional offer only applies to qualifying game purchases from the Epic Games store. It does not apply to any nongame purchases such as add-ons (like DLC or season passes) or in-game purchases (such as in-game currency, like V-bucks in Fortnite, or upgrades like Save The World mode.)

Actual behavior: Instead the color chosen doesn't make a difference and when loading up or Ramsgate it turns to a light blue. Tried changing colors and loading again, the colors appear but as soon as you open loadout or load a hunt it always turns blue instead of the desired color.

The store is currently under maintenance. Once maintenance is over your missing items and plat should appear normally.

Then I get into the game and go to fight my first three monsters, they disappeared after one hit. Easy enough. So I make my way to the behemoth. If there is a lock on system, I didn’t find it. The hardest battle was trying to fight my camera, smashing square was simple. So, I defeated him! Hurray! Then the game crashed.

Somebody notify me when the game isn’t so buggy. I’m really excited to play this and see it has great potential. I just can’t right now.

Edit: again, I’m not trying to be a dick. I’m just reading comments and seeing that people are already writing this game off. I wanna play it. I just can’t.

I am sorry you are experiencing there issues. We are looking into them and it has been less then 24 hours since launch.

Hellion's lava being clearly seen on the ground because it's dangerous.

Grass has lava resistance and hides the lava from players

I would keep an eye on our twitter for updates. Sending a support ticket won't hurt to keep everything tracked on our end, but isn't necessary <3
