It's incredibly unfair for some places to be able to afford the next hunt pass using the current pass platinum, while others not being able to. Personally, I buy hunt passes to support the game and for the gear but come on, I'd love to be able to use spare platinum for cosmetics.
Edit:This us apparently due to international laws, so that's a pretty good reason
