[2019] Dauntless Cpu usage

I know this has been posted a few times, but ive noticed really high cpu usage in dauntless recently. When im in a hunt, my cpu is slammed at 100% and gets real hot real quick (gpu hitting 80 and cpu 70 if hunts long enough), i have all my settings on low. frames are capped. is there anything else i can do?

this is as bad as i could make it ^ (uncapped frames, epic settings, no vsync)
