External link →I know The feeling i have to wait to 10 pm. I really want to know why an maintinance/update Will taken 3 hours to be finished. Other games i have played have been instant update deployment. Just download and get back in to it.
We usually try to couple any behind-the-scenes maintenance with a patch so that players don't have to have a downtime for no reason. This one we took the game down to deploy and test the hunt pass but we also had to upgrade some of our services stuff which is part of why it took so long.
We definitely don't want players to not be able to play cause that sucks so we are also doing work to have zero downtime/instant update deployments. We trialed it late last year and will be doing more this side of the year too!
