BTW, Embermane is not the only exception. I'm using: Pangar helm, Kharabak armor, and Embermane pants. All 3 of them have 'gated' ingredients (the only one I managed to get past 300 were my gloves). I would've rage quit if I didn't see your explanation.

This progression stopper is not cool. Lucky for me, I'm a Reddit user. But imagine the other folks who won't bother researching this and just quit because they think that's it.

BTW, what sets are safe to craft? Seeing how my batting average only had a 25% success rate on picking the right armor pieces, I'd rather not pick randomly just to find out they're stuck at +5 again.
