[2023] Emberthorn Cove Challenge

So, I've got an odd question: Do island events even spawn on Emberthorn Cove? I've been killing embermanes here and the fauna, for the challenge, but it also says I need to complete three island events. Been at it for over an hour and no events have spawned. This for real?

It's for Escalations, the Emberthorn Cove one should be resolved in Thursdays patch!
