[2021] BHVR's Reporting System Status

The system has not been implemented yet - so no one was able to witness it, as it is not in action as of now.

I do understand the worries, but I advise to not get too worried until more information is released as we have no information about how it's going to work at all.

It's actually worse if its related to the website. People can't brigade the in-game reports for playersr other than scummy swfs in a game reporting another survivor or the killer (and you just ignore multiple reports when there's SWF in a lobby) - but if it's attached to a website you better believe there are enough toxic people to dogpile onto some player who was in a game with a friend or worse a streamer.

We have to preemptively worry about these things to make it clear to them that they need to explain the system and to make sure they have accounted for peoples' reasonable concerns. If nobody showed any concern whatsoever they would probably sneak it in the backdoor completely undocumented and then the first we'd know about it would be people would be getting banned left right and center.

Far better for us to post our concerns ahead of time than to wait until the horse has bolted.

Yes, of course, I understand - I'm just advising to wait for more information as some people might really panic about this and no, I highly doubt something like that would be implemented behind the backdoor, especially as it was announced in this anniversary stream (and considering how sensitive this can be).
