In the case you're describing, if it was clear that you didn't want to farm and it did become griefing, this can be bannable. I'm not 100% as there isn't a lot of information in your post about what happened. If you experience future instances in which it is clear you want to play the game, but someone is forcing you to farm or you're forced to do all gens on your own to be able to leave, this can be considered griefing.

For everyone else: Farming can quickly become griefing if not everyone wants to farm - tread carefully when you farm, as you might end up ruining the game for other people as it's not a fun thing for everyone. If everyone wants to farm - well, then possibly yay, but if it's clear someone doesn't want to farm, don't force them - generally play the game normally.
