[2023] RIP Deeprock... you were loved. You will be missed.

Wasn't around since it's beginning, but I've been playing for over 4-5 years and enjoyed the game then as much as I did now. Although that all comes to an end.

A recent HDD failure has erased those 4-5 years, and as much as I love the game, I just don't have the heart to go through it all again... the training... the missions... the promotions... and all the seasonal cosmetics...

Why not just use a steam backup? I thought the same thing... but this is where I found out, mournfully, that my steam cloud backups had been disabled since 2017...

I reached out to ghostship and got no reply. I know there's nothing they could do, really. I just had to try anything to see if there was any hope.

So it's with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Deeprock Galactic, and it's hilarious and widespread community. Thank you all for the good times and laughs.
