It works in the same way that all the different foods were discovered/invented.
At some point, someone has looked at something and thought "I bet I can eat that."
"I'ts not like I burned the cream, it's creme brulé"
"I put the fires out."
"You made them worse!"
"Worse... or better?"
This would be an interesting mechanic. For 250 nitra, Bosco calls on a Bet-C in solo to help / decoy a dreadnaught or something. Maybe a 20% the Bet-C shows up to the party corrupted.
Hey now, don't get any fancy ideas. If people start thinking these are in-game things, I don't get to do fun stuff like this anymore. :(
Get back to work entertaining us, miner! Or get to work on the pod's onboard suspension, in-flight entertainment... or better beds so we can wake the gunner when we land ;)
Am I close? Is this a possibility? Maybe a blueprint we can feed to the mission selection terminal to give Bosco a one-time special ability or something...
