This is sort of a test post really, GSG_Jacob as the community manager are you able to share some insight on how our feedback helps the developers and what areas of feedback they prefer?

Is the growing community becoming overwhelming? Inevitably if the game continues growing in popularity some of the voices on social platforms would be buried in the sheer quantity of other voices. Are you able to keep up with all the posts or do you only take into account the most popular opinions?

How high of a chance does a post with 10 upvotes have to be seen compared to one with 1k? Does the bug flair and idea flair get more attention than the others?

I’ve seen a lot of smaller posts with very few votes that have some very nice ideas and I’m just curious how much our feedback currently helps. For once it actually feels like what people say matters to a company and I know I for sure appreciate it.

I purposefully have not tagged Jacob to see if he will come across this by chance, if you do Jacob thank you for reading all the way to here. I love the game and you guys are legends. Rock and stone!

To elaborate I see most things here, and other devs + our guy at coffee stain post links on our Slack frequently. Bug flairs are mostly used by QA, so that’s useful too - they also look at the Steam Forums, which I do to a lesser degree. Primarily because this subreddit has more varied content relevant to what I do at GSG.

Upvotes are relevant for visibility, but the amount isn’t vital. 1000 votes obviously makes something more visible that 10 do, but as soon something has enough upvotes to leave “new”, chances are much higher. I’ve also set up an IFTT to notify me of posts, so I often wake up to a bunch of notifications of new stuff on this subreddit.

There is some unavoidable personal bias as to what might be passed on. Great art, good videos, critical bugs, praise etc. is very frequently passed on. Suggestions for a Medic class, “we need more weapons”, and so on are not.
