So I was going for a quick 20 minute game before going to shops (still haven't left yet) and I ran into the biggest level I've ever seen...
The place was so big it was insane... I didn't screw around too much but ran into (roughly):
- 1 x Crassus
- 1-2 x Detonators (can't remember the game was that long)
- 6-7+ Oppressors (again started losing count)
I don't know if there's an escalation mechanic in the waves but it seemed like it at one point where on Haz 3 solo I was getting Oppressor after Oppressor and normally solo haz 3 you see maybe 1-2...
2 x Caverns that would be up there with some of the biggest I've seen
1 x that was the size of 2 of the above put together (it was like a winding cathedral-style with levels you see in Magma Core, only Glacial). It was the biggest I've seen probably by about 20% (previous record held by a magma core level). And both those two are head and shoulders above everything else...
After the Crassus at about 20min in, I knew with 2x XP I had to give it a good crack and get as much done as possible.
At the end it got to the point where I needed to go to the toilet so bad I didn't even go looking for the last 3 fossils to finish off the secondary or the last 2-3 veins of stuffs.
I don't have more screen shots, I honestly couldn't get one that showed the proper depth of the cave, even with the map... So I figured just go with this one and a text blurb.
But yeah, had to post something on it; anyone had similar scores/stories?
