You could maybe have formulated it more nicely, mate, everyone is frustrated about the issue.
The only issue that is confirmed at the moment is the win10 server list issue, that has been fixed, but is currently in certification, and as such, completely out of our hands. The rest of the issues are not ones that we have noted for other players, but I will note your down and keep an eye out. It is possible that your antivirus is affecting your connection, try to go in and make sure that no FSD/DRG files are quarantined, as that can cause issues. We also have some additional troubleshooting steps on our discord, in the Xbox and Windows section, that might be able to help, in case the antivirus is not the issue, so try and take a look there.
Now for your next point - no one wants their players to uninstall the game, but that decision wasn't up for debate, it was the only way we could technically put out our engine and framework update.
In terms of known issues, as soon as we heard that was an issue, we collected the information available to us, and we try to get feedback from as many of our players as possible to identify the issue, which we did only hours after it went live. We then created builds and tested them for 2 days to make sure that the issue was fixed and we were not introducing more issues and making the situation worse. In that time we communicated with players on discord and reddit, and the xbox club as soon as we had a plan. In terms of bragging, well.. we were merely making people aware that we updated the game, and that it fixed a lot of connection issue - which it 100% has, it is very clear that the game is in a much better state stability wise, which, unfortunately, for a group of players is overshadowed by the issue we talked about before, that we have been worked on since the moment the patch went live.
Lastly, no one has said this was an minor issue, and our actions clearly indicate that it is a big issue. Should we have caught the issue? absolutely, QA should find all issues but realistically, we are 2 people, supporting 2 simultaneous updates on several platforms, and things that you tested an hour ago can break again in an hour, so it is an impossible task. Again, as I mentioned, we did a hotfix right away, but there are certification delays when you release on consoles, otherwise, you would have had the fix on friday. Again, that part is out of our hands.
If you need additional help with connection issues, please feel free to DM me, and I will do my best to try and help you, so you can get back to mining - maybe we can even share a Glypid Slammer one day.
