[2019] Game suddenly super laggy?

Even on the beginning screen where you press continue, it is super laggy. Get even worse lag when i log onto the space rig. Anyone know a fix?

Tried verifying files and uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck

Game ran completely fine for first 30 hours, but is now always laggy

Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling steam

Another very specific detail: First time it started lagging (like when i booted it up) i heard 4 loud beeps, don’t know if this helps.
