[2023] Is Phazyonite always staying as an alternative to normal minerals for cosmetics? Or should we save it for a future when Phazyonite-only cosmetics exist?

Phazyonite is much rarer than other Minerals, which can be earned in a multitude of ways in greater quantities. Right now you can buy cosmetics by spending either Phazyonite or Minerals: nothing is Phazyonite-only.

Is this always going to be the case? I'm "scared" of spending Phazyonite because tomorrow there might be a bunch of cosmetics that we can ONLY buy with Phazyonite. At that point it would be unfortunate to have spent all my Phazyonite and still have lots of Minerals that I can't use for anything.

Are always going to have a choice to pay cosmetics with Phazyonite or Minerals, or should we save the first because it might become the only pay option for some cosmetics in the future?
