The arcade machine on the rig is fine I think. A silly little thing to do between boogie dancing and kicking barrels.

But down on a mission it feels like a joke. Let me just open up my app and waste some time while my team does the real work.

What if the unlock mini game was more like a quick 101 on how to use the boots. Hit the prompts at the appropriate times, all presented in a way like a safety manual.

Disregarding all the safety warnings, just blitzing through the puzzle to get the boots going faster.

What if it was more like the lock-pick mini game, you physically unlock the crate. Easy to do, but can be stressful in combat.

The thing is it worries me that the direction the devs want to take the game in is all.

And why flappy bird? Why not whack-a-mole or ski- ball? Why not make it a dance revolution pad if its just for lols?

I'd just prefer something that felt more like a job for a gritty space mining company than a smartphone app from the 2013

It’s linked to the motion and mechanics of the jet boots. Jetty boots is literally the joke. We do a lot of subtle and less subtle jokes.

I guess that's the point Jacob, game mechanics linked to jokes?

No, flip it. The “joke” linked to game mechanics. The jet boots works by boosting using one button, so what would be better fitting than a lock using the same concept? The minigame exists because of the boots, not the other way around.

No, we’re still doing that.
