Yes the content is fun for new players and the more casual ones, the weapons are cool, the sundial as an activity is fine and to be fair, it is among the best story/mission we have had since forsaken.

But I think as a long term fan, it boils down to having nothing to prepare for. In previous season we almost always had a raid (or at least at the time a somewhat challenging activity in SotD with T3 reckoning to then get the gear to rune gambit prime, which I happened to like at the time), your light level, getting appropriate gears... mattered.

Right now, I feel like I am playing warframe, where you grind stuff just for the sake of it. The new mods are cool, armor 2.0, despite the annoying affinity, is pretty cool. Masterworking your gear and unlocking your artifact lets you make some pretty awesome builds. But what's the point? It's completely overkill for 100% of the current content and we have literally zero challenge to prepare for and to use it in.

I have personally never been out of the game so fast within a season. And no, I don't attribute that to burnout, I still very much like the gameplay and pretty much always take a break two months in a season, but IMO there is a serious lack of endgame content. Since warmind, it was not just having more things to do, but a very nice rhythm of cycling between two activities, both completing each other very nicely, and i think having only one is killing the flow and makes the game feels like any other generic shooters that I can play solo with my brain shut off.

Thanks for the post. We've been seeing a few similar threads about difficulty, or the lack thereof, for players deep in to the endgame. Will continue to pass it along!
