TL;DR is this working as intended? Is this what bungie planned for pinnacle loot rewards?
Over my 3 characters I have not been able to complete a full set of armor to break the 951 cap. Are we supposed to grind for 3 weeks of rewards and not be able to increase Pinnacle power by even one level point? I'm not against RNG per se, but I feel like I've wasted 3 weeks of effort in an already short season in trying to progress my power gain.
Raided Garden 3 times each week, 100k Ordeals on all characters, and completed IB rewards on all 3.
In that time I've leveled my artifact up to +17 and season pass is over 150 which I lost count of.
Breakdown on 951 drops:
- Kinetic: 11
- Energy: 15
- Power: 3
- Helmet: 2 warlock - 1 titan
- Gloves: 1 each class
- Chest: 1 warlock - 3 hunter - 2 titan
- Boots: 2 warlock - 1 hunter - 2 titan
- Class: 2 hunter
Edit: since there are some that suggest I could not have looted this many 951 items, I took screenshots from DIM of my vault with filter set to power:951 Also this isn't a complaint about the ability to hit 960 this season (if it's even possible), it's about the level of effort to just get to level 951 based on the amount of time I've invested so far.
