I play on PS5 and PS4 Pro.

PS5 is 60fps PS4 Pro is 30fps

On PS5 I die way faster and get one shot by multiple different enemy types. I can play on my PS4 Pro and do the same encounters and same risks and survive much longer from enemy attacks. Higher difficulty content it's extremely noticeable.

This was talked about for about a week and now it's swept under the rug while the game still suffers. I play on both systems sometimes daily and it's so noticeable. All the weird deaths you get from the enemy from full health and it's almost instantaneous death. That same death on lower framerate you will have more time to react.

Hey all,

We had a few specific fixes go out for individual pinpoints over the last few larger patches, but the team is still digging.

Please do not take this as us sweeping things under the rug. Game development can take time as the team investigates root causes and potential fixes. Investigations can also be put on hold if other high priority issues arise during development of the overall game. Understand the frustrations here, but please don't feel as if we're trying to hide the bug or outright ignore your feedback / bug reports.

I'll touch base with the team to see if we have any additional information that we can provide in the short term.

Seriously, isn't it nice to get communication that isn't passive aggressive, condescending, or patronizing? 343 f**king hates their player base.

I can say with 100% certainty, they don't hate their playerbase.

It's a tough job. Mistakes can be made. They've killed it in many areas, and honestly we've learned a few things from their strategies and comms over the months.

There's no need to throw shade at them. Let's focus on the problems we have here, and on building stronger/more positive communities around Destiny 2.

Much love.

Following up - sadly, can't give any updates on a specific fix timeline just yet. I can say that this will not be fixed this season, nor next, but the team is looking for future opportunities to address the underlying issue.

Please continue to forward reports of these issues to us on the help forum of bungie.net. We can continue to escalate the more egregious scenarios where enemies are doing higher damage than expected, and give a sense of frequency to the team. Always helps when we have discussions around impact and priority.
