[2019] BUNGIE I hope you see this, I don't want to be banned. I need some information.

I recently learned that 3rd party mouse macro plug-ins and similar software could lead to a permanent ban if it's on the BUNGIE blacklist. I am using the program called x-mouse on my computer because of my disability. I sometimes map the mouse 4-5 to shift and space when a game doesn't allow me to map buttons. I don't use it on destiny 2 but it still runs on the background. Is it a problem? Is there any risk? I have never used a macro for skating etc. or did it manually. Game is a bit expensive in my country and I don't want to lose it. I just want to play it fairly without gaining unearned advantage against any person from this beautiful society. I really would be thankful if someone from BUNGIE could clarify this any give me some info.
