Interface

  • The header’s fade-in, fade-out has been improved
  • Tooltips for the menus have been added when you hover over the icons (the issue with them being displayed behind the icon is known)

HUD

  • More UI optimizations, including a fix to a very significant lag spike that happened when you were hit with the Shotgun
  • The Final Scoreboard is working again and it has a new look
  • There is now a temporary way to set the HUD that the Reset HUD button will reset to, edit Diabotical\ui\html\janky_temporary_sandbox_for_letting_priv_testers_mess_with_default_hud_definition.txt with your hud_definition found in Documents\Diabotical\Settings.txt, you can also upload this file so people can easily try it with just a file replacement
  • Spectators have been removed from the Tab Scoreboard and the Final Ccoreboard
  • The Melee weapon now shows up on the weapons list and has an infinite symbol in the ammo counter

Sounds

  • The Movers (doors, elevators), have a new sound when moving

Visual changes

  • The notorious bug where visual projectiles were shot from an opponent that had directly hit you with a projectile has been fixed - these projectiles would go through walls and through Eggbots which could cause a lot of confusion
  • The environmental decals are no longer displayed on top of Eggbots

Spectating

  • When playing Wipeout you no longer start spectating immediately when you die, you now get a grayscale screen in the place that you died, without your HUD and weapon model and after a few seconds you start spectating and color returns
  • In the Play Of The Game the camera is no longer inside of an Eggbot’s shell
  • When spectating the camera is no longer inside of an Eggbot’s shell (happened after they died and respawned)

Maps

  • wo_prb_02 has been updated, a highlight is that the type of elevator has changed to a thin platform
  • A Brawl version of wo_prb_02 with pickups has been added called br_wellspring
