Since the last update some of the focus has been on a separate UI branch to transfer the UI backend from Coherent GT, to Coherent Gameface but some other things have also been done Interface

  • The simple decals are now working and have thumbnails
  • New decals have been added, search for button, valve, bubblegum, flower decal 6, ying, phantom, skull, blush, sweat, mouth 26, mouth 27, eye 47, tag 13, tag 14, tag 15, tag 16, tag 17
  • In Custom Game the map thumbnails are now updated for everyone in the lobby immediately
  • In Custom Game the map duel_gx_01 now has a thumbnail

HUD

  • In Instagib the pickup notice for the entities dropped by dead eggbots now reads “Coin” instead of “Ghost”
  • The pickup notices for the Machine Gun and Grenade Launcher ammo are now working correctly

Sounds

  • In Instagib there are now 2 different sounds when you pick up a coin, 1 for coins dropped by allies, 1 for coins dropped by enemies
  • The CTF specific announcer lines have been updated
  • The announcer lines for multi-frags are no longer counting frags from a previous round
  • The Blaster, Void Cannon and the Machine Gun have new firing sounds

Visual changes

  • In CTF the flag is now always visible on the eggbot carrying it and it has the correct color
  • In CTF the bases are now indicated through walls when the flag is present
  • In CTF the dropped flags now display the team color of the flag
  • In CTF the indicators seen through walls on the dropped flags now display the team color of the flag
  • The powerup indicators, particle effects of dropped objects, and the teleporter particle effect are no longer visible in the menu (when you press Esc while in a map)
  • In Instagib the Ghosts are now Coins with enemy coins being golden an ally coins being silver
  • When players die while hold the melee weapon they no longer drop it
  • The railing on top of the Machine Gun is now shinier

Gameplay

  • Fixed issue where Wipeout and Clan Arena round scores were being reset at the start of a new round, meaning that matches will now always end when the score limit is reached
  • In Clan Arena 1v1 (Arena) players now have to frag their opponents twice each round instead of once
  • The Clan Arena starting Armor is now 100 - it was incorrectly set at 200 and ticking down to 100
  • When carrying the Diabotical power-up the rocket launcher self and enemy knockback is now 150% of the regular knockback instead of 200%
  • Projectiles affected by gravity can now interact with shootable triggers (for example Crossbow bolts can now push buttons)
  • Bouncing projectiles can now interact with shootable triggers (for example Grenade Launcher grenades can now push buttons)
  • The Crossbow’s projectile now penetrates through eggbots
  • The Grenade Launcher ammo and the Machine Gun ammo now give you ammo correctly (previously you could pick them up but they had no effect)

Maps

  • duel_facility_wip has been added, this is the Medieval theme version that promEUs worked on during his stream yesterday
  • duel_facility’s (the old theme) collision has been updated, you can no longer leave the map through the open ceilings
  • duel_outpost_dunia_wip’s collision has been updated
  • wo_wellspring_ma_lighting has been added, which includes some alternative lighting with some darker shadows
  • df_p0_04 has been added
  • df_p0_01 has been updated with layout and visual changes
  • duel_gx_01’s lighting has been updated
  • The example map (/edit example) has been updated with the Grenade Launcher ammo, Machine Gun ammo and Crossbow pickup

Editor

  • Broken Japanese theme props have been added including thumbnails - search for broken
  • A dragon ornament and a golem prop have been added, including thumbnails
  • Thumbnails for the nature theme props and for other plant props have been added - search for nature and tree
  • The Grenade Launcher ammo, Machine Gun ammo, and Crossbow pickup are now available in the editpad, you can search for weapon or they can be added with /add ammomac, /add ammogl, /add weaponcb respectively
