Update#1
Interface
- The text in the dropdown elements now has a more contrasting color, the options aren’t squished together anymore and the scrollbar has been fixed
HUD
- The Accent Box (rectangle) and Speed HUD elements are now hiding on death correctly
- There is a new HUD element called Yaw Ruler
- In some circumstances in non-duel modes you might see the Dashboard (Powerbar) HUD element with a Weeble recharge indicator inside of it (in Duel the Rage indicator occupies the same spot) which will indicate when a new non-healing Weeble recharges, note that this is just the indicator, the mechanic has not been implemented yet, when it’s implemented you will still always spawn with 1 Healing Weeble but what is currently an Explosion Weeble will vary on spawn and will recharge after being used
Gameplay
- The Shotgun’s shots_per_round have changed from 13 to 20, damage from 3 5 to 3 4, spread_ring from 12 to 6
- The Upgraded Shotgun’s shots_per_round have changed from 25 to 20, damage from 3 5 to 4 5, spread_ring from 12 to 6
- The Shotgun and the Upgraded Shotgun have new patterns, see the the image below - in my experience it seems easier to hit and easier to deal a decent amount of damage with the Upgraded Shotgun at medium to close range than it was before
- It is now possible to bind specific weapons, and not rely on weapon groups/weapon groups alone
to do so at the moment you need to use the console with the following command
/bind game weapon_specific
replace with the keybind you wish to use, and use the corresponding from the list below (example: `/bind game v weapon_specific 16`): ```1=Blaster/Void Cannon 2=Shotgun/Upgraded Shotgun 3=Rocket Launcher 4=Shaft 5=PNCR 6=Machinegun 7=Grenade Launcher 8=Crossbow 9=Weapon9 10=Minigun 11=Flak Gun 12=Laserpen (Showtime) 13=Healing Weeble 14=Implosion Weeble 15=Slowfield Weeble 16=Explosion Weeble 17=Melee 18=Melee``` (Melee has changed from 17 to 18)
Maps
- wo_mrh_01 has been updated with some collision changes and a significant skybox change, the sky now has more contrast which can give rooms a different feeling and might inspire more unique callout names
- omar_city_04 has been updated
Update #2
Interface
- The Custom Game’s map, mode and other options are now being updated correctly when selected
- There have been some more adjustments to the dropdowns
- The Customization menu’s keybind guide/instructions are now positioned and aligned correctly
- The Play->Tournaments menu is no longer moving the position of the menu buttons elsewhere
- In the Custom Game server options the “Russia” spelling mistake of the “Russia/Moscow” option has been fixed
HUD
- The hitmarkers’ incorrect position has been fixed
- There is no longer text stuck on the screen after you finish a match
- The placeholder text below the Dashboard HUD element’s Weeble recharge indicator has been removed - note that the Weeble recharge indicator is not yet working
Visual changes
- The Slowfield Weeble’s bubble is now visible again
Gameplay
- The Smoke Weeble has been added to the game, it is represented by the eye half closed Weeble model and it creates a sphere of smoke of that occupies about 280x280x280 units (7x7x7 blocks) but on one of those coordinates the smoke will be divided between the 2 sides of the surface that the Weeble exploded on contact with, meaning you will see a semisphere on each side of that surface. The smoke in its most opaque state lasts for about 6 seconds - note that the smoke visual effect and behavior will be improved
- The Smoke Weeble’s weapon_specific number is 17, which has moved the Melee to 18, If you wish to bind a specific weapon to a key and not rely on the weapon group binds, use the console (~) with the following command /bind game weapon_specific replace with the keybind you wish to use, and use the corresponding from the list below (example: /bind game v weapon_specific 16): 1=Blaster/Void Cannon 2=Shotgun/Upgraded Shotgun 3=Rocket Launcher 4=Shaft 5=PNCR 6=Machinegun 7=Grenade Launcher 8=Crossbow 9=Weapon9 10=Minigun 11=Flak Gun 12=Laserpen (Showtime) 13=Healing Weeble 14=Implosion Weeble 15=Slowfield Weeble 16=Explosion Weeble 17=Melee 18=Melee
- In Wipeout you now spawn with a Healing Weeble and a random Weeble out of the Implosion, Explosion, Slowfield and Smoke Weebles. Whenever you are alive at the moment that a minute passes on the round timer (Timer=01:00, 02:00, 03:00, etc), you will receive one more random Weeble
Maps
- wo_mrh_01 has received some collision updates
- wo_prb_01 has had some visual updates, most notably the addition of the new redstone cliffs - in my opinion these have brought some more color to the map (this map is still under construction)
- omar_city_04 has been updated
Editor
- There are some new rock props if you search for “redstone”
- Recently a signal tower prop has been added, search for “signal”
- Recently a zeppelin prop has been added, search for “n/zeppelin”
