Update #1

Interface

  • In the Quickplay menu the Brawl mode has been changed from saying Trios to saying 5v5, the Instagib mode has been changed from Duos to 5v5
  • The Custom Game’s map image has been moved slightly to right to avoid a vertical line being visible when the mode dropdown is opened
  • The Customize menu’s dropdown arrows have returned and the bar is no longer spilling out

HUD

  • Adjustment to the padding of the icons on the Weapons list
  • The score indicators now have text shadow to avoid issues with bright team colors
  • The score indicators in Brawl have round score indicators in preparation for when those are implemented
  • Respawn timers are now only being shown in Wipeout
  • The correct team colors are now being shown in the final scoreboard
  • The Frags, and Damage values are now being displayed correctly in the final scoreboard
  • New work in progress HUD elements that indicate the number of teammates and enemies alive at the moment have been added
  • A new HUD element called Item Pickups is available in the HUD editor, it displays an icon and message indicating the item that you just picked up, in addition to that it also displays the name of last owner of the item (placeholder icons have been added for some items)

Sounds

  • When a dropped powerup is grabbed the correct pickup sound is now being played
  • When 2 players are in range of a pickup, only one pickup grab sound is being played now

Visual changes

  • The Crossbow is now textured in 3rd person
  • The Healing Weeble’s trail is now more similar to the color of the Healing Weeble

Servers

  • All servers have been updated with the recent changes

Gameplay

  • The Rocket Launcher’s knockback has been reduced from 95 to 90
  • The issue where the same pickups could be grabbed by multiple players at the same time has been fixed
  • The issue where you could grab a dropped powerup while you already had a powerup has been fixed

Maps

  • Refinery has been updated
  • duel_outpost_dunia_wip has been updated, it now includes a path from the Shaft room to the Shotgun/PnCR room
  • duel_garrison_wip has been added, which has a new path from PnCR to Red Armor, and changes to the Megahealth room including a new Megahealth location

Update #2

Interface

  • The Video settings menu now has an option to set the framerate cap, 0 is uncapped/unlimited (recent unreported change)
  • In the Customize menu, thumbnails have been added for some recently introduced decals, at the moment the decals without thumbnails represent the decals that aren’t working correctly

Visual changes

  • In Wipeout when the person that you’re spectating dies their weapon will go away, the screen will turn grayscale and you will be automatically switched to watch another player afterwards
  • When you or the person that you’re spectating dies, the crosshair will now go away - note that there is an issue at the moment with the crosshair not coming back, it will be fixed in the next update, until then you can think of this as a death punishing mechanic

Editor

  • Some thumbnails have been added for recently introduced decals
