I saw older posts claming that Eco Dedicated Servers don't support IPv6 at all, no matter what.

Has this changed since? IPv4 hosting would be A LOT more expensive in my case, so I'd want to know before setting everything up and buying the neccessary hardware.

You only get an ipv6 address from your provider?! Surely that can't be.

That is pretty normal in Germany for ISPs nowadays. Server providers also switching over requiring additional costs for IPv4, so that's correct.

No, IPv6 is not yet supported, unfortunately.

Thanks!

Is there a prediction when IPv6 will be supported? Or is this a low priority thing?

It's a low priority issue, unfortunately. It is planned though.

I just so happen to be in Germany, I get an ipv4 address from my normal Vodafone cable internet. I got one from o2 before that as well.

I'm at Vodafone Cable (BY) as well, but i only get a IPv4 due to having my own router - if you don't have one you get IPv6 and tunnel. You can then pay 5 € per month for a static ip. (Which I also don't want, as its static)
