So I haven't played this game in forever and just felt like exploring it again. Upon hosting a server I was very happy to see some advanced settings for multipliers regarding stack sizes, exp, resources etc. because I used to config things via files (I don't even remember which ones) and it was a pain in the ass in the past.

However, my dumb ass screwed up one of the multipliers, I fiddled around with the Craft resource multiplier and instead of entering 0.5 (what it usually is) I entered 05, which autocorrects to 5 (at least that's what I think happened). I did not realize it. I haven't played in so long I thought sh*t just go extremely hard by default now and I started many new local servers like an idiot till I figured ou what may be the problem.

Problem is I like that world a lot, the whole world generation, all the grinding I have done to get all the resources but it is really tiring me out. I just want to set the multiplier to default but how? I really don't want to restart a whole new world and start all over.

There is no ingame GUI for the same thing, I entered some kind of server GUI command in the chat but nothing happened, I tried multiple times if I can somehow edit my server via the menu but if it is possible I just don't know where to look.

Maybe I'm just very stupid and blind but it kind of bugs me that the initial settings can't be changed at any time in an easy way.

It's super easy to just run a local dedicated server. Download it from play.eco, use the UI to configure the game and the just connect to "127.0.0.1" in Eco.

Or you just use the UI to make the settings and copy the files to your local (embedded) server :)

Edit: I think there is also a command for opening the server UI. Try "/server" and see what commands it suggests.

/serverui

This command doesn't seem to work when hosting a game with no dedicated server. It does give me a proper output in the chat (saying something like "XYZ run the admin command") but nothing happens. There is no UI popping up, nothing new added to the settings, nada.

I went with the initial tip to just change the local files. Worked fine :) Just wished we wouldn't need to tamper with files to begin with

Can unfortunately not reproduce. Starting a local server through the game, typing /serverui, alt-tabbing out and there it is in the task bar.
