Eco is inherently developed for multiplayer experiences, the singleplayer is basically just a dedicated server started locally (which is why it's called local world). The dedicated server requires a connection to our backend servers to determine what content players have access to, if the license is valid and ensures that a player is who they claim to be for all mechanics that require that (like voting), to prevent abuse and cheating. An offline mode would not be compatible with the general technical structure of Eco and we have no plans to implement one.

@Battle4U: All world information is saved locally on your computer. The backend only stores your user tier, what content you have access to and in the future also your avatar.

I appreciate you participating in the forums here, but it would be great if you could write in english insofar the original topic was written in english as well. It is fully fine to create threads in a specific language, but all posts within should always use the same language as the opening post, so players don't get confused or need to use translators individually, potentially not getting the message you wanted to send. It is fully fine if you use a translator to do so. Please note that further posts in a language differing from the opening post may get removed.

I have asked you politely as a moderative note to use english in topics that were created in english, specifically saying you are free to open threads in french and write in french there. I also explained why that is - it is confusing and mildly disrespectful to the vast majority of participants here that is known to the english language when each of them has to use a translator separately to understand your text, which can result in different outcomes depending on which translator is used as well. You have the option, as I also said, to write your post in french, put it through a translator (DeepL is a good one) and then post the result here. Then there is a single result and noone else is required to use a translator.

There is no reason to make a thing out of it that it isn't, nor a reason to make a triple post. Following the standard internet etiquette is all I am asking for.

As for your remark in regard to the game language: The language in Eco is separated into parts controlled by the client and such controlled by the server. So when you use french in the client but join a english server all data provided by the server will be in english, while all data provided by the client is in french.
