Hi all, apologies in advance if this has been raised already but I couldn't see anything specific on it.

I started a new server roughly 16 days ago and it's ticking along much better than I expected with a solid player base and a great community.

We have recently had a problem. We had 1 user who seemed to be using an injection mod to give himself more skill stars than he would have normally acquired and also spawned in the Electronics skill book long before we were due to get it through normal means. We managed to capture that issue pretty quickly and he has subsequently been banned and the book removed before other players gained it. However, we now seem to have a repeat issue with some 'smarter' people using similar methods to spawn in extra resources to create books ahead of their time.

My question: Is there an effective way to deal with these issues and are the developers planning on introducing an anti-cheat system of some sort?

You can report them to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) with sufficent proof, their accounts will be banned. And yes, we are dealing with that, but I cannot give you any information on to how, for possibly obvious reasons.

There is one exception though: Spawning of items is not currently possible, so I doubt their progress was related to that. In those cases we only can do something if the alleged method is shared, as this was already patched.
