Settlement Foundation Bug?

Hi, I’m hoping that someone might have some insight? I was working in my base moving things in stockpiles when my settlement foundation, which was 20+ blocks away, was in my base. This then deleted our settlement, and caused the settlement next to us to spread their influence into my base where the settlement claim papers were being used, as my base was on the edge of the settlement next to this settlement.

Is there any way to fix this and get the settlement and borders back?
