[2021] Can't play with friends

So for a few days I'm unable to send invites or accept them through ubisoft connect. When I try to invite some one I don't see the invite button and if I go on the chat with them I see the invite button grayed out. I receive invites but I can't see them in ubisoft connect only in the right top corner of my screen which tells me to press X to see the invite.
We have the games from steam, I tried to reinstall the ubisoft connect, game and I even reinstalled the windows on my pc with leaded to no success.
Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

What you can try is having one of you host and give the Server ID to the other one to connect manually via the "+" in the top right in "Your Worlds". The Server ID can be found in Steam/steamapps/common/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/Configs/Network.eco in "ID":

Apologies for the delayed reply to your thread here. Are you still having this issue currently? Do both you and your friend have the Ubisoft Connect overlay enabled?
