Our electronics expert has discovered how to teleport. He has convinced society to abandon this world and come with him on a journey through space. He says he's building 4 lasers, and when he turns them on we'll all be transported to a new world...or something. Fuzzy on the details, he swears it works that way. So we've given up on Pandora. Blast furnaces and oil refineries are back on full power to race to make these lasers. Needless to say, Pandora has already voiced it's displeasure.

My backyard

The jungle in my backyard, once teeming with life, is now too hot to sustain any except my least favorite tree. Man I hate Florida. How do I know that name? Anywho, despair has run rampant, as we learned of our worst plight yet: saltwater.

The Northern Seawall

With no beach to absorb the coming tides, saltwater has run rampantly over our soil and threatened almost every plant. Only one small lake remains as the only unpolluted freshwater. Citizens prepare for war with the sea.

Moria

The Dwarf King built us a platform for the lasers that is visible from every home on the continent.

Fountain of Hope

It's not all bad though. We've built a lot, and learned a lot! Many of the citizens can't wait for the laser transport. I wonder if I can bring food on the trip?

The Lonely Shop

The shop is almost completely underwater now, roof peeking over the waves. The road was rebuilt above the sea, but the shop will remain forever.

As if to tell us we're following the correct course, my fern unexpectedly greeted me with a green smile.

Hes back!

I joined as an arborist a few days before the 'collapse'. It has been an amazing experience to see the transformation, and also quite heartwarming and encouraging to see how the citizens are coming together to truly pool all resources to get to the lasers!

It surely also was earthwarming :)
