Gave this game a second chance...

There is many possible causes for performance degradation, it's not some single issue that could be easily fixed. We provide a developer build for users with that issue that they can use to give us the necessary data to find the cause for their specific problem, see this copied from Discord:

We have prepared a development build allowing to collect diagnosis data about performance issues for WT players.

If you have any sort of FPS issues and want to help getting those fixed, you can now switch to branch "release_dev" in Steam by right clicking Eco -> Properties -> Betas -> Select branch from dropdown. The branch is compatible to join any servers on the current release version and enables you to provide the data we need. You cannot get this data on the regular release version - reports from there can't be taken.

Please read the following careful - reports that do not contain all necessary information unfortunately are worthless for any investigation.
If you have FPS issues (server lag, network, etc. cannot be reported!), please follow the following steps:

1. Press F6 to make a snapshot. Note the location written into the chat, you will need to get the resulting file later.
2. Type /savetransformstats into the chat - again, note the location written into the chat, you will need to get the resulting file later.
3. If your fps issue is degradation over time OR involves notably increased memory consumption over time, you MUST provide a memory dump by pressing F11 - the chat will again tell you where it is. Note that during a memory dump the game can become fully unresponsive for a while, do not click anything.

After you did this, gather all three generated files (the memory dump can be extremely big, multiple GB) and .zip them to reduce their size. Provide them together with a description of the issue (if too big for Discord / Mail by uploading to a cloud service with access for everyone with link), the starting fps and fps at the time of the diagnosis data taken above and your full system specs either via DM to me or to [email protected].

Again: If any of the information is missing, the report is unfortunately not going to help with investigation.

You can also do this when playing on other servers, we just target this one primarily.
