[2022] Question about how to merge two players deeds.

Hey all, I've started up a server for a group of friends. My girlfriend and I are trying to figure out how to merge our deeds together so that when she puts down land claims, or I put down claims, it counts for both of us. Is this possible early in the game? or do we need to wait until we can start a "town" or "government"?
