[2021] Land Claim Lag?

I am having a weird issue, anytime anyone land claims my game freezes in place for a second or two and then jumps to wherever I might have turned to or looked at. If someone places multiple claims, the game becomes unplayable until they are done. Even my own claims do this but the lag is less lengthy.
