You may already have noticed by now - everyone likes pretty different to opposite things when playing Eco. The art is more making the different wants compatible with each other, that's what good server admins tend to do.

I for myself prefer playing on servers with meteor (and not long-term), at least a starting currency, but even better some kind of government framework right from the start. I just don't like bartering and want to get into politics as soon as possible :)

Originally posted by Chris: Having been the elected leader a bunch politics takes so much time that I dont get stuff done when im the leader cause I have to go put out disputes and etc. One server I was the sole mason on the entire server and we progressed because I made bricks and they would bring the mortar to me I would produce bricks and they would buy them and we got ♥♥♥♥ done because of it. I even built the largest brick building i think anyone in eco ever saw with the left overs when we started to transition to the next building materials. I also had the first powered cart and the first steam truck and regular truck on that world and kept all 3 of them and drove tons of miles in them like all the polliution from driving was me lol

Oh yes, that can be a "fulltime experience". I often tend to fully focus on that when elected. Some servers also have wages for officials to be able to focus on the leader job mostly while still getting something done elsewhere as well, it's a nice concept in my opinion and can also be introduced organically, though that will be way harder.
