[2022] Orange Sidewinder on Planetary Glide for my wingmate

As the title says, my wingmate tries to follow me into planetary landings. I can land just fine but he can't land on any of the odessey planets. When he exits to supercruise, he's bounced out and is then locked out of the game. He has to load up default elite with no horizons to get bounced back to orbit, and then when he tries to land again the settlements come up as 9 trillion light years away, even though he's right at the planet the settlement is on.

Is there any fix for this? We just went out to california nebula because he'd never gone exploring and he can't land on any of the planets, it's really ruining the experience.
