A Friend can't Play Elite with any Controller (PS4 / SwitchPro) given

o7 Commanders,

a Friend of mine is having Problems playing the Game with any Controller given.
We have tried to use differen PS4 Controllers and a Switch Pro Controller.
Windows and Steam are detecting the Controller (all of them) but Elite won't.

All Conntrollers have been working perfectly fine, with the PC of his Wife.

We have tried to change the Settings in Steam, Elite Launcher, but sadly with no effect.

What else can we try, to get them detected?
