Like the title says it keep getting "Network Error: Unable to initialize network. Please check your connection" popups when I try and load the game. Connecting from the US West Coast, loading Horizons, worked last time I played, turned off my VPN, cleared my Steam download cache, verified the game files, reset my router, reset my modem, and can connect to everything else on the net just fine. Anyone know any other tricks?

Hey CMDR,

Are you able to reach the main menu of the game?

If so, please head to "options" -> "Network settings" and make sure the correct network adapter is selected, if you're using a VPN or software such as Hamachi, or your PC have multiple network adapters installed, this can default incorrectly.

After changing to the correct network adapter, you'll need to restart the game before attempting to play again.

If you are getting this error before reaching the main menu, please send us a support ticket via: https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new along with a screenshot of the error so that we can assist further.
