[2023] Can't log in (Steam)

I found a fix for the time being. Check the last edit below. Hope it helps anyone else who stumbles in here!

Been gone on a break for awhile and decided to fire up the game again. So I redownloaded the game on Steam and launched... but I can't get in. I've searched around and tried the various fixes to no avail, so hoping someone here can help. Here's what's going on and what I've tried:

Issue - I have both Horizons and Odyssey installed. When launching the game through Steam, it pulls up the Horizons launcher and asks me to log in. There is no 'Log in with Steam' like there used to be. When I enter the credentials to my Frontier account it asks me to buy the game.

I tried 'Link Account' but get the forbidden error as the account is already linked with steam. I can go to my account details and see that is indeed linked. Upon returning to the launcher, nothing changes.

I have restarted the launcher, restarted Steam and the launcher. I've restarted my pc and network. I have verified in the integrity of the files. I have redownloaded the game. Im.. at my wits end here.

CMDRS.. I just wanna see the stars. Please tell me someone can help. I've made a support ticket but it's been over 24 hours..

Edit: I should mention it worked once earlier today. I just started the game through steam and it logged me in automatically. I changed some settings, got in game then closed it to have dinner. It hasn't worked since. Mi not sure what I did different (if anything).

Edit 2: Seems Im not the only one here and there's a few CMDRs in the same ship as it were. I'll report back here if I find anything out. In the meantime, if anyone has a solution let us know! Sure a lot of us would like to get back to space! o7

Solution: I found a (temporary) fix. In the Steam client go to Steam > Settings > Account. You can find 'beta participation' there. Opt in, restart Steam, launch ED. It will fail the first time but close it and on the second time it should work. Found the fix over on the ED Forums. Hope this helps. See you out there CMDRs o7
