[2022] Can't Get ASP EX back

Sooo I made a boo boo and died at a settlement while on foot. When I died I woke up in a detention center of course and then tried to get into my ASP Explorer. I kept getting "unrecoverable error" and then the game would kick me back to the main menu screen. I logged back in took a shuttle to another space port and learned that I also can't transfer my ship either. Every time I try it takes my money but there is no timer on my ship. I can transfer any of my other ships though. Have I permanently lost my ASP Explorer? If so that's going to suck ass because I have a LOT of engineering time put into it.
