[2021] Anyone have any issues/workarounds for the tutorial?

I've played the game since 2014, and took a break for a few months. I held off on Odyssey after hearing about most of the bugs, and I decided to try to get back into the game now. I thought by now most of the bugs would be fixed, so I decided to reset my save and start fresh. But I have encountered a rather strange bug; right as I am finishing the Odyssey tutorial, I get dropped off at a planetary base. The screen then fades to black, and stays that way. I force quit the game and tried skipping the tutorial, only to get the same issue. I tried loading into Horizons, but the same issue occurred there (a black screen upon finishing/skipping the tutorial). I saw in the pinned post for the recent hotfix that claims that exiting the tutorial is still a bug. Does anyone have a workaround for this? At the moment, I am essentially locked within the tutorial and cannot access the rest of the game.
