[2021] Sluggish and juddery all of a sudden?

Since Thurdsay 21/10/21 my normally smooth E:D (Horizons) has been juddering and sluggish, taking up 90-100% of my GPU time all the time. Also keyboard responses are damn sloppy and the load-in times for station menus and mission boards is loooong. Is this just me? I've done NOTHING new to my PC and before this it was running in ultra graphics quality with no problem. I've checked for high-resource-using background processes, set graphics quality to low, etc etc, no joy.

Has the latest update fiddled with your E:D Horizons play too? I've not raised a ticket in the issue tracker as that never gets any response, thought I'd see if anyone here has any clue.

Based on the description, it is possible that some third party software is interfering with your game.

Please do send us a support ticket via: https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/requests/new along with a DxDiag file so that our team can take a look!

To obtain your DxDiag file on Windows 7 or later follow these instructions:

Open the Start Menu

Type dxdiag into the search box and press Enter (if there is no search box you can start typing to make it appear)

Click 'Save All Information' and select a convenient location to save the file.
