[2022] Here's an Interesting Problem

Okay, so I haven't played Elite since update 9 or so. I decide I want to hop in my alliance chieftan and do some pirate hunting. I get joystick gremlin and voiceattack and everything up and running then hop in my simpit and put on the vr helmet. Controllers seem to be working properly in the menus and everything is good.

I hop in my ship and pick up a few easy missions to kill pirates, then I hit the button to launch. I'm able to thrust a bit when I release from the docking pad whereupon all my inputs go dead. All I have is pitch and yaw. The station kills me.

I check joystick gremlin and try again. This time, my throttle, for some reason, engages my vertical thrusters. And I'm able to lift away from the Penal Station, thinking I'm good to go. Nope. Dead in the void. I've hopped in and out of the game, checked keybindings, everything. Everything seems to be good until i hop in the ship and try to fly and then nothing. I checked Star Wars Squadrons to see if it was a problem with Gremlin or something, but it works perfectly.
