I'm on PS5, and I'm having an issue where I can't select anything in the galaxy map using the x button. I can't select solar systems, can't plot routes, can't select anything in the left panel, ect. When I press x while hovering over a system, it makes a noise like I am selecting it, but does nothing.
I can plot a single route using the nav panel in the ship and sorting by systems, but this isn't sustainable. It would take an hour to make just a few jumps having to plot this way.
Common advice has not worked. My x button is assigned, and works in every UI panel and interface in the game except the galaxy map, so that isn't the issue. Ive even reset to the default controls, which are supposed to have no issues in the galaxy map, and that did nothing.
My controller isn't broken, it works in every situation in every other game, except the galaxy map in this game.
It isn't a filter issue, because I can't even select filters, because my x button won't work to select them.
I have tried closing the app and even reinstalled the game itself. Nothing works, and I am on the verge of deleting the game. Can anyone save me?
