[2023] Download Error

I wanted to get back into the game after years of not looking at it. In the launcher, I discovered something I hadn't seen before, "Elite Dangerous: Horizons". I thought it sounded cool, so I went to download it.

Starting the download tanked my PC performance. I disabled the Virtual Cache and Multi Threaded Download options, which didn't kill my computer when I tried again thankfully, but every time I try the download now, it gets to about 1/3rd of the way done before giving me a network error and cancelling the download, leaving me to start it all the way over again.

Any help would be appreciated.
