Servers down? (PS4)

Playing on PS4. Been playing most of the day and everything has been fine. About 2 hours ago I exited hyperspace at a station and got locked into the hyperspace exiting screen. Now it takes forever to “log into” the game at the start screen and when I do log in it says I’m not connected to servers in the little what’s happening box. Eventually it’ll go away and I go to continue and try to log into the game and get the error code “black adder” or “problem retrieving commander data from the server”.

The support site says I can check the server status on the support page but that isn’t true, the only thing at the top right where it tells you to look is a profile submenu or a log in button. Is anyone else having issues logging in? I know I don’t have a ban of any sort because I strictly play solo and don’t interact with other players.
