I recently changed some graphics settings following advice from CMDR Exigeous (https://youtu.be/G7efYzpquIs), cutting back to lower settings where I thought reasonable. Previously, I ran with everything at the low or medium settings, and I wanted an upgrade from jaggy potato quality (since I felt that my graphics card should be able to handle it...).
Now, any time I go to Open Play or Solo Play, the holo image of my current ship, rotates, stutters, and the screen goes black -> crash. I've attached my current settings here. My monitor has 1080p resolution and 75 Hz refresh. My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. Previously, when the game worked, my graphics card ran with almost 100% VRAM util.
Any clue what's happening here? I'm at my wits' end. First it was days spent figuring out how to remap controls to DS4... now it's more nights spent on researching graphics settings. I just want to play the game and am so frustrated with how little I know about all this. Please, just any help is appreciated. The game ran better when I played on PS4, and now with all this fancy hardware, I have no idea what to do to make it better. Thank you in advance o7
