[2023] Please purchase/redeem elite dangerous to continue

Hello so I am trying to play elite dangerous on VR which I bought on steam and whenever I launched the game it brought me to the frontier elite dangerous launcher and when I signed in with my frontier account it said please purchase/redeem elite dangerous to continue. I don’t understand where is it that I’m supposed to “redeem” my bought game and why is it that the elite dangerous frontier launcher doesn’t recognize that I already bought the game on steam.

Hello! As long as your Steam and Frontier accounts are linked, you should be presented with the 'STEAM LOG IN' button next to the standard log in button - this is the one you need to press (though you may need to restart the launcher if it's not immediately available).
