I have migrated to a new computer.

I have two PC ED accounts, one I bought through Steam and one I bought directly from Frontier (when it was still possible).

On my old computer, following the many instructions from the internet, I used the two ED accounts through downloading the game only once (I made a copy of the ED launcher and logged in through the two different launchers with my two different ED accounts). I played with an xbox controller on both ED accounts without any problems.

So I did the same on the new computer.

The game launches, the two different launchers bring me to the two different ED accounts, but when I try to change controls to my xbox controller, it is just simply not on the list of potential control sources (it should appear something like game pad or whatever). I have only keyboard, mouse and joysticks and their combinations.

However, when I launch the game from Steam (which logs me in to the ED account that I bought through them), controller IS an option and I can chose it without problems.

Do someone have any idea what to do to make my controller a control option? My fleet carrier is raking up weekly charges and I do not want it to be decommissioned, just because I cannot mine some sweet diamonds.

I hope some of the folks migrating from Xbox may have a solution.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Hey CMDR,

Are you able to connect your controller using a cable and see if it makes any difference?
